Chemistry & Biochemistry: Chemistry Laboratory Coordinator to procure, organize and maintain chemicals, consumable materials and equipment for Chemistry Department use; assist Chemistry faculty with the design and preparation of laboratory coursework and teaching demonstrations; work with the University Environmental health and Safety (EHS) department to maintain a safe laboratory environment; train and supervise student workers and graduate students to provide support for lab maintenance and lab course preparation. Require: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or associate of applied science degree in chemical technology; good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously; familiarity with laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPS) and chemical material safety data sheets (MSDS); proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
